Punta Cana wedding florists and photographers
Floral studios and photo/video teams based in Punta Cana, and what to ask before booking.
Florists: WJ Flowers offers wedding flowers and decoration plus event and hotel floral solutions; Búcaro RD, Carmona Decor and NAB Designs also do wedding and event floral design in the area.
Photo and video: Photo Cine Art and WBA Studio offer wedding photography and videography; HDC Photo, Punta Cana Photographer, JJ Studio Photo and LizArt Studio offer wedding and photoshoot photography.
Many resorts have preferred-vendor rules or outside-vendor fees; ask your venue before booking an outside florist or photographer.
Ask each vendor about hours of coverage, travel to your venue, deposits and delivery times; HDC Photo, for example, states a 30% retainer reserves the date.
Photographers and videographers
HDC Photo, founded in 2006 by Arnaud Brichet, shoots weddings, proposals, engagements, elopements and family sessions, travels nationwide, and reserves dates with a signed contract and a 30% retainer. Photo Cine Art is a husband-and-wife team (Milan and Nata) offering photography and videography including drone. Valiko Proskurnin works with a second camera operator. WBA Studio, JJ Studio Photo, LizArt Studio and Punta Cana Photographer cover weddings, couples and family shoots in the area.
Florists and décor
WJ Flowers offers custom wedding floral designs plus event and hotel floral solutions; Búcaro RD designs flowers for weddings and events in Punta Cana and across the DR; Carmona Decor and NAB Designs both combine floral design with event décor. Before booking, confirm whether your resort requires its in-house florist or charges an outside-vendor fee.
How to compare quotes
For photo and video, compare hours of coverage, number of shooters, edited image count, film length and delivery time. For flowers, send your colour palette, the ceremony and reception layouts, and photos of the venue. Ask everyone whether travel and taxes are included. ExperiencesDR's in-house video team quotes on request, and its Wedding DJ starts from US$2,500.
Booking timeline
Photographers and videographers book out first for popular dates, so reserve them soon after the venue; HDC Photo, for example, holds the date with a signed contract and a 30% retainer. Florists usually finalize designs closer to the date, once the colour palette, guest count and table layout are fixed; start the conversation early and confirm the final order a few weeks out. Ask every supplier for a written timeline of deposits and final payments.
Pairing photo, film and music
Couples who want both photos and a film can book a studio that does both (HDC Photo, Photo Cine Art, Valiko Proskurnin, WBA Studio) or pair a photographer with ExperiencesDR's in-house video and drone team, priced on request. For music, ExperiencesDR's Wedding DJ starts from US$2,500 and an Event DJ for the welcome party or after-party from US$1,000. Ask your venue about sound limits and power for beach set-ups.
Questions for florists
Ask which flowers are locally available in your month, whether arch and centrepiece rentals are included, who sets up and removes the décor, and whether the florist has worked at your venue before.

Seeing real work
Ask each photographer for two or three complete wedding galleries (not just highlights) shot at venues similar to yours, and ask florists for photos of installations at your resort. Instagram is useful for style, but full galleries show how a supplier handles harsh midday light, rain and indoor receptions.
